Work History

As a computer scientist I have spent much of my time behind a computer trying to make applications that would benefit the scientific and industrial communities. Here is an overview of my most recent large scale work organized by job and recent to old.

University of Minnesota Undergraduate Researcher

I am currently working as an undergraduate researcher under Professor Dave A. Yuen. Even though Dave Yuen is a part of the geology department, we are more involved in high performance computing and visualization.

Minnesota Super Computing Institute (MSI) Internship Program

The University of Minnesota in cooperation with MSI hold an internship program each summer in which professors select students to work with them on projects they are involved in. This program provides great paid learning and experience. I was fortunate enough to get accepted into this program after my freshman year working as an Undergraduate Researcher.

Small Business Owner

Having the skills of a web developer at a young age opened a door for money making. I attempted to capitalize on this opportunity by starting this company 'Xeyvn Technologies'. I am even considering creating a LLC and pushing toward being an entrepreneur.

Support and IT Administrator

I used to work as the IT guy at a regional large format printer distributer in Shawano, Wisconsin called Up and Running LLC. I did web site work and technical support mainly. I even did large printing works to act as demos and sales tools. I acquired many skills with softwares, large format industrial printers, and large format laminations. I still use my skills with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator today!
