My legal name is 'Martin Dale Lyness'; I was born in the Oshkosh Wisconsin Mercy Medical Center, September 9th 1986 at approximately 10:45 PM. Now I was certainly too young to remember these facts first hand, but I take them for truth from my Winnebago County Register of Deeds 'Birth Certificate'. My delivering doctor, Thomas J. Mc Cool M.D., was one of those guys who you knew the minute you met him, he enjoyed his job. He was my family's doctor until I entered elementary school, and I remember enjoying my doctor visit be cause of Dr. Mc Cool. Even though these events are relatively unimportant, when i think back and consider the people that have molded my life and made me who I am today, Dr. Mc Cool was one of the first to position my person. From what i hear, when you are young experiences and learning can be so much more heavily weighted in your brain than later events. This makes me consider the fact that the laid back fun personality that made Dr. Mc Cool so cool, made a big impression on me from my birth and has pointed my personality into the same direction. Granted he was not the only influence on me, my parents, aunts, uncles, grandpas, grandmas, and others who interacted with me as a child also have had their effects on me. You might be questioning your views on Nature versus Nurture at this point, so let me state mine; It is obvious environments modify the way personal development occurs, but the physical organization of a person's cells, molecules, DNA, brain tissue, and more create an undeniable fact that not everyone is the same; therefore, nature also must play a role in human development. Duh! Well i know this is obvious and the real question is which plays more of a role, but I'll leave the answer to that to the cognitive researchers. Heck, maybe someday I'll develop software for these researchers.
